User Accounts Guide
Register
In order to access the functionality of Warthog's Game Leagues you must create a user account before anything else. The process is very simple: you just visit the Register page and fill out your email address and desired password. After the form is submitted you will then receive a confirmation number and link to the address you specified. You must click that link to finalize your account registration, at which point you can login and start using the site!
Login / Logout
Once your user account is created you can login to that account to start making use of Warthog's Game Leagues. To login you must enter your email address and password. Your email address is used instead of a player name because it is unique to your account, and also you may have several different player names on several different leagues.
You may also check a box to remember your login, so whenever you visit the site in the future it will know who you are and you will not have to login again. If multiple people will be using your computer and our site, you may not want to check this feature, or you can click the Logout button which will log you out of your account and erase remembering your account the next time you visit.
Change Information / Lost Password
We recognize that you may need to change your information from time to time. You may visit the Edit Account page under the 'User Account' heading, where you can change your email address and/or password. If you change your email address a confirmation number and link will be sent to your new address to confirm that it is valid.
If you lost your password to login, you can be assigned a new, random password. The link to the Lost Password page can also be found under the 'User Account' heading or on the Login page itself. Again a confirmation number and link will be sent to your email address. Only *after* confirming your address will you be assigned a new, random password, which prevents anyone from entering your username and giving you a new password.
