Warthog's Game Leagues provides free ranking systems for any game. If you want a game league, whether for online games, video games, sports, board games, or anything else, you can create it here. Our ranking system works well with any size league as well, so you can have one for a group of friends or for the entire world.

Win $100,000 in Midway's 'NBA Ballers: Phenom' Tournament!! - March 15, 2006

Greetings All,

Long time no see? I'm still here! I have been busy with another project called GameSense (http://www.gamesense.net), which you might be familiar with if you are into competitive eSports. In the next few months I'll be making some serious improvements to this website - including the Swiss and Double-Elimination tournaments many of you have been asking for. :)

Anyway, I'd like to get the word out on a tournament being run by Midway for their upcoming game NBA Ballers: Phenom. This game is automatically cool because it features Chauncey Billups of the Detroit Pistons, the best team in basketball.

This game comes out in April and features online play, so it would be a good candidate for leagues and tournaments on this site. Stay tuned for more details. In the meantime, here is the official word about the tourney and good luck!!

The $100,000 NBA Ballers: Phenom Tournament

In April 2006, 1,024 video gamers from around the country will show their stuff for a chance at $100,000.

$10 Entry Fee Required. Limited to 1024 participants. Maximum of 10 rounds must be played to win tournament. Level of competition will increase in later rounds. Contest ends April 9th, 2006. All prizes will be awarded by June 1st, 2006.

Seven New Help Guides Added!! - September 28, 2004

Before I get to the updates, I should clarify an issue that has come up frequently, regarding league rooms, takeovers, spamming, etc. I still maintain that you can play whever you want, whenever you want, however I ask that you please be courteous about other leagues. If a league has been established in a room for a long time, perhaps it would be best to ask for users there politely but run your league in a less-crowded room or one that is not used by any current leagues. Please try to be considerate of others and work out your differences in a mature, professional manner. Thanks!!

Long overdue, I have finally added help guides to this site, covering every function and feature we have to offer. Check out the new Guides link under the Support heading to view them. There are 5 user guides and 2 admin guides - and if you are not an admin you will not see those 2 guides. Here are the categories:

Getting Started
User Accounts
Leagues
Tournaments
Premium Memberships

Admins:
League Administration
Tournament Administration

If you have had any question about a specific feature of the site, or wondered what certain functions did or how to use them, just visit the help guides and find your answer!!

Site Downtime, Version 1.91, Improved User Support - September 21, 2004

My apologies for the site downtime yesterday. We were offline until about 7:00 PM EST due to weather-related issues where our servers are located. Unfortunately this was out of our control, and I appreciate your patience in the matter.

Although Version 1.9 just came out, Version 1.91 is fast approaching. In fact, many of the changes have already been implemented, such as the Complete Tourney Stats and improved Contact Support page. There are still a few pieces left of the puzzle to finish. The release of the new version will also signal the start of a new 'campaign' (in the spirit of coming elections) to advertise this website and attract new users. I'd like to rejuvenate the interest in this site and get a nice community developed by the end of the year.

To help accomplish this I have also been working hard on new Guides and FAQs to help users figure out how to use this website to its fullest potential. This has been a *very* long time coming. I know some have been turned away from the site because they had no direction or help on what to do, so this will be fixed very soon.

Please continue with the suggestions and feedback!!
